Fact: At this time we are unable to find any requirements regarding home inspector licensing in the state of Florida. The closest the state came to passing new regulations was in 2005, but on June 22nd, 2005, Governor Jeb Bush vetoed the home inspector/mold inspector bill and described it as "ambiguous" and that it did not "establish clear educational and examination requirements". Furthermore, Jeb Bush instructed the legislators to go back to the drawing board and develop a solution that both protects the public and providing a constructive business climate.
